ABOUT US – Contacts, Constitution

The Greater Sudbury Watershed Alliance (GSWA) is a not-for-profit organization that speaks as one unified voice and strives to consider and support the goals and challenges of the membership. Through education, advocacy, and action, we work to improve lake, river, creek and wetland water quality.

As an organization, our goal is to build collaborative partnerships with local businesses, organizations, associations and municipal and provincial governments.  We strive to influence best practices in planning and development, and to promote healthy and sustainable watersheds through educational forums, public events and the media.

Members represent waterbodies in Greater Sudbury and area and also citizens who live in the various watersheds.  Stewardship Groups pay an annual fee but individuals can join at no cost.
